Amy + Adam wedding

Amy and Adam were wed over the holiday weekend at Congregation Beth Yeshurun with a reception following at the Omni Houston Hotel. Entertainment for the evening was provided by the band Midstream. Susie’s Cakes created the bride and groom’s cakes while florals and decorations courtesy of Plants N Petals.

Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.

Here is round two of Amy’s bridal session. While at the hotel for her bridal session we completely forgot to utilize her veil. She chose to work at a the home of a family member to personalize the portrait.

Natalie + Robert wedding

Natalie and Robert were wed recently at Grace Presbyterian Chapel with a reception following at the Houstonian. They have an amazing love story that begins back in junior high. The families and friends were just amazing to be around. The days events went extremely smooth thanks to Alia Rdissi with Belle of the Ball. Decorations and florals courtesy of Wedding Flowers by Lisa while the cakes were created by Susie’s Cakes. Entertainment for the evening was provided by The Pictures in from Austin and Aaron with 31 Films documented the day on video. Following a honeymoon in Italy the couple will reside in California.

Natalie + Robert rehearsal

We first started out at Grace Presbyterian Chapel for the ceremony rehearsal which ran exceptionally smooth. From there we headed on to the rehearsal dinner for Natalie and Robert at Eddie V’s CityCentre where cocktails, dinner, a slideshow presentation then followed by a few intimate toasts. Alia Rdissi with Belle of the Ball coordinated while floral arrangements were provided by Wedding Flowers by Lisa. I must say that the restaurant service and meal was simply fantastic. World Cakes & Catering provided the desserts and Crave supplied the three flavors of cupcakes which were distributed at the end of the evening.

These were taken back in May shortly after Natalie had graduated from Rice University. Therefore it was quite fitting to create her bridal portraits on the campus that she had spent so much time on working on her degree. She was a charm to work with and check out the flowers that include orchids from Wedding Flowers by Lisa.

Lynn + Michael wedding

Lynn and Michael were married this past Saturday at an island themed venue in Santa Fe, Texas called Hidden Palms. They first met when he saw her doing Karaoke, and she did a little bit at the wedding, so other than just being adorable, I can see how she caught his eye. They were such a warm and fun couple to work with. Congratulations you two, and have fun on your Mexican honeymoon!

Tia’s maternity session

I first met Tia through one of my networking groups a few years ago. She is always a charm and such a wonderful person to catch up with. Expecting her second child, Kennedy, in May we were fortunate enough that she had some time to visit us during one of her few days off working for Toyota Center for her maternity session.

Melissa + Jason engagement

For Melissa and Jason’s engagement session, Laura headed down to Galveston to get some photos of the couple on the Strand and by the beach. First we started off in the strand area and by the harbor. We then headed over to East Beach, but the breeze from the water got the best of us so we then headed over to some grasses to finish off. Can’t wait for their wedding at the end of the month!

Westin Memorial City

The new Westin Memorial City opened recently and Laura was on hand the day before for the staff pep rally to get them all riled up and ready to go for the big day. The festivities for the day included lunch, a fashion show of staff uniforms (many made from eco fabric that was made from recycled plastic bottles!), a group photo of all of the inaugural staff and finally a live flash mob in front of the hotel on Gessner.

It was a lot of fun, they have chosen a great staff and I know this is going to be a wonderful hotel for guests and conventions alike.

Mary + Johnny engagement

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the engagement session for Mary and Johnny. The couple met which attending Texas Tech University. They chose Hermann Park for its diversity and the weather was amazing, suffice it to say a bit windy at times. We are covering their wedding this July.
